The other day when I was at my parent’s house, I found a suitcase that I thought I had already sold away.

The Travelpro Platinum 7 26” Rollaboard Suiter!

Typically, I only buy suitcases that I can carry-on planes, but I bought this one to transport a month of clothing when I moved to New York.
I ended up using this suitcase two times, on the way to New York, and on the way back to Japan.

Because I only used it twice, I don’t think I can do a deep dive review.
But I can tell you that it does a good job of carrying tons of luggage around.

I use the Travelpro 22 inch carry-on on my regular flights and this 26 inch size suitcase is just like the 22 inch carry-on, only bigger.

Size

The official diameters are:

L26″ x W12″ x H18.5″

It’s huge.

Wheels, legs

Just like the 22 inch Travelpro, the wheels are very quiet.

The legs are firm too, won’t tip over even when the bag is expanded.

Handle

The handle is also very firm.

Because of the height of the suitcase, the handle itself is shorter than the one on the 22 inch.

Outside pockets

There are two outside pockets.
One goes all the way to the bottom and is perfect for laptops.
The other only goes halfway down and is good for putting stuff like boarding passes, TSA locks and stuff like that.
